Blacksmithing for Beginners with Kian Berreman
In this beginner’s Blacksmithing Class, you will learn the basics of shaping hot metal. Participants will make a fire poker, learning and putting into practice several basic forging techniques using traditional blacksmithing tools: Tapering; Twisting; Fullering; Curling; Texturing; Straightening. Instruction covers safety, history, theory, and practical applications, forming an excellent basis for a blacksmith certification.
Participants will learn how to make a fire poker using 4-5 basic blacksmithing techniques.
Everyone will make a fire poker to take home!
Price:
PUBLIC: $100 + $15 materials = 115
Ages: Adults and Teens 16+ (14+ with an Adult)
Minimum 3/Maximum 4 students.
